Also as another counterargument to the whole “people don’t sing with accents” thing
there was a country song that was on a lot last year about how to cheer him up all the singer’s girlfriend had to do was “give [him] a wink”
except that his accent was such that he pronounced /ih/ as /ah/
that song was the source of many gigglefits on my part
