When I heard that there was a female warrior in the Thor movie, I expected her to be like Natasha Romanov. Calm, quiet, collected, and ruthlessly competent. I expected her to land on Midgard and swagger through town with a “don’t mess with me” frown and a hand always on her sword. Instead, we get a woman who is confident in herself - so confident she can relax into a giddy smile. Midgard! Thor’s here! There’s adventure to be had! Yes, yes I can cut your heart out, but that’s not what this is about. Hey look! Thor’s got his hammer back!
I love that Sif is basically a female Big Lug Who’s Good At Fighting. You can bet she quaffs with the best of them.
My love for this character knows no bounds.
I really hope she gets some more screen time in Thor 2

This is a movie doing a ruthless woman right. Women don’t have to be bitches to get stuff done. Just saying.
I
Great casting here - love her!!
